TranZ is expanding it's transload facility in Wyalusing, PA.  The company is adding about 10,000 square feet of operating area and enough new track for an additional 15 rail cars.  The expansion will increase available transload capacity by roughly 33%.  "This investment will allow us to better serve our customers byNew_Pad_300x200 both making more rail cars available for offloading and by decreasing railroad switch time", says Mr. Adam Dietz, VP of Operations at TranZ.  TranZ broke ground for the expansion on November 11, 2013 and all work scheduled to be completed December 6, 2013. TranZ is pleased to announce that our Wyalusing Station in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania is fully operational. The station, located just south of downtown Wyalusing on U.S. Route 6, provides rail-truck transfer of bulk materials for the energy industry. “We expect to transload about 120 rail cars in the month of May with a goal of 300 per month by summers end", said Mr. Tom Clark, General Manager. TranZ is a Deleware limited liability corporation headquartered in Owego, NY. The Wyalusing Station has three full time employees, all of whom live in the Wyalusing area. TranZ is pleased to announce construction of our newest bulk material transfer station – Wyalusing Station in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania. The station, located just south of downtown Wyalusing on U.S. Route 6, will provide rail-truck transfer of bulk materials for the energy industry. “We’re setting up a 24-7 operation to support the 24-7 needs of our customers”, said Mr. Tom Clark, General Manager.
